Nope '65 CJ 5, but it shares a garage with a '54 Willys. Learned to drive on that old Willys 35 years ago...Gramps spoiled us!

That is my son. He is 23 years old so it's an old photo I ran across today And remembered this thread.

Teenage hunter had hiked in couple of miles, spotted deer across draw up on high face, 300 yds or better, so adjusted for shot and buck fell and rolled dead with one shot! It was the young man's best buck and most difficult shot. Note the cool kicker antler. He is thankful and proud at what a nice 4x4 muley buck it is! Luckily he had another teen with which to share the joy of success (their shouts were heard from afar) and some adults to advise and assist with retrieval.

Took an 8 mile hike, near 3000 foot of elevation gain. Made a big loop and close enough to the truck to drag him. Gotta love Montana.

This pic resonates with me. Something about the comfort of my truck dome light after a good hunt. It's like the truck is welcoming me back from the woods.
