[Southern Elk]

Kalispell, but mostly hunt region 3 for elk. I still don't want to spend the time learning to hunt region 1 due too limited numbers of elk, and lots of pressure.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but do you think the hunting pressure is higher in Region 1 than in Region 3? Region 3 was more crowded than I've ever seen it this year.

Region 3 is big. I saw 2 people on foot in 26 days in region 3. Only saw about 20 elk total while hunting though. There's places that you can see hundreds of elk and almost as many hunters in region 3.

I really need to find a spot like that Greenhorn. My hunt was more like saw 26 people in 2 days.
