Is it all hype, or is it a true hunting rifle?

Changing calibers for under $300 has me seriously considering one.

I have a T/C Pro hunter and I love it!!! I have a muzzle loader barrel and a .300 win mag barrel. The gun is comfortable to shoot and accurate. The only time I would be hesitant to use the prohunter is if I was in grizzly country, but even then I might carry it.

Where'd bambi go?

How's this for a kick in the teeth? Thinking a VX3 3.,5x10x40 Silver....CDS or no?

270 Winchester 28" barrel....40 rounds old.. I think they are the most interesting ugly rifles made. Gonna work up some 130 gr TTSX.

I'll probably pick one up for hunting here in IN as I need a new muzzleloader anywho. Now that we can use a rifle in certain chamberings, I'm thinking it'll work just fine. Probably get the boys each a Contender as well. With a 357mag or max barrel, a 22lr, and a 20ga they'd be set for anything in IN, but would probably get them a semi auto shotgun if we decide to start actually hunting birds.

With that long of a barrel, I'd think about giving the 110gr TTSX a whirl. That'd shoot flat!

...finished pro hunter

Got the care package schmalts sent me installed. Decided to load some 130 BT's since 3 boxes came with rifle and this'n'll be a Texas bright eyed whitetail and pig rig.

Is that a 50mm objective?

Yep I know...it's huge. Prolly need to get one of those big T/C logo patches for the stock...for perspective......but it is bright and clear for those dawn and dusky situations.:D
