Looking for surface mount garage ceiling LED lights. The 2 large "DIY" stores carry some but have not seen anything that I think will work. Prefer hardwire install rather than the linkable plug in type and don't need/want dimmable or multiple lumen selections. Would like nuclear detonation or tanning bed brightness for a 20x25 space with 12 ft ceilings. Any suggestions?

I have 6 of these in my garage that is a little bigger and 14 foot ceilings. They are about $15 a piece. It’s not tanning bed brightness, but I burn easy. they are on 24/7 365.

I’m not sure you can buy a led driver that doesn’t have those options at this point. Just cap off the dimmer leads and turn it to the color to what you like.

I would put in a couple 8’ strip lights. I really hate home improvement stores, but Home Depot does sell Lithonia.

I put a couple 4 foot modern flourescent replacements up on loft ends plugged in. 5 windows and a rollup help. 2 more tubes for walls and a portable shop flood.

In warehouses we do high bay lights. They go up to ridiculous lumen amounts. With LED a lot of them will be dimmable or have temperatures that you can change. But you can set and forget and don't have to use all the features. A lot of this depends on what you want to spend.

Appreciate the input from everyone. I have a real issue with analysis paralysis and your suggestions have helped relieve that to some extent. I'm the guy from the credit card commercial the says "I could have had a falcon". Always worried that I could have had something a bit better or a cheaper price when in reality what I buy will be better than what I have now.

When it comes to ceiling lights for my garage, I have 1 light bulb and the garage door opener light now. ANYTHING is better than what I have.

If you already have light sockets in the ceiling, I highly recommend these.

Deformable LED Garage Lights. We had them put in our garage on a recent home build and they are perfect.

I've got 4 of these in my garage, along with 4 4-lamp fluorescent fixtures and a hanging 2-bulb lamp over the work bench. It's almost enough light.
