Surf Perch Relocated?

Hey guys! For the past 2-9 years we have had great surf perch fishing in our area, catching 3-8 fish each time, but they had dramatically dropped off the last few years. Tried different lures and moving miles up and down the beach without much success. Anyone have any experience with this?

We used to fish for those once in a while at Jalama and Surf Beach, but I was definitely no expert. Maybe the sand bars changed and the conditions aren't optimal for them in your area right now? Beats me...

Ya that's the only logical conclusion I've reached. I know the sand bars have changed over the last few years under the Pismo pier so no reason they wouldn't down in Oceano.
