Braver than me. I can't deal with snakes. Probably since I grew up with being warned constantly about rattlers. mtmuley

This is like a poor man's coues deer hunt. I like it. Except the snakes.

I just had a small fork come in. It’s 3 points on one side of 10” main beams to be legal. I think he was 10+”, but was too close to try to chance it.

I’m in power hour. 47 minutes left of this hunt.

My buddy just saw a buck too.

Well, that sunsets my 2025-26 hunting season.

I had four does come in last light. It was very peaceful and a fun little weekend blitz.

I’d love to stay longer, but I’ve got work Tuesday.


Now I’m off to eat some oysters, red snapper, and get ready for my drive back tomorrow.
