Cruised through Yellowstone yesterday to get a drive in and see how the bugle party in Mammoth is going. It's pretty awesome out there right now. Surrounding the park I saw at least 400 elk, all very much so in the rut. The noise is fun.
The big guy has earned the name "Carbasher" after he tried to take down someone's vehicle the other day. He is incredibly saucy right now and has a host of ladies with him.
The littler bull is really holding his own with 10 or 12 ladies in this high pressure spot.
And I really couldn't help myself on the YNP v. Jurassic Park shot. The second I took that pic all I could see where the raptors in the kitchen
