Took a couple days to go on a trail ride through the high country. 10 people 12 horses for our first of whats going to be a yearly event. Started out early in the day and with a little rain coming down but as we climbed higher the cloud broke and the sun shone for the remaining 2 days. Climbing for 3800ft to 7300ft the first morning stopping for lunch at an old volcanic lake for tube steak. From the lake it was up hill to the continental divide with more than one stop for a breather along the way. After a look around it was down the back side heading for our base camp for night one.
