Any recommendations for a spotting scope tripod?

I am looking for something lightweight to fit in my backpack. I already have a binoculars and Bogg adapter for the tripod I currently own. Its just way to big for backpacking. If I can't use the Bogg adapter that is fine. Its more important to be lightweight.

@Nuts, not sure of your budget, but I went with an Outdoorsmans Tall Tripod with a pistol grip head. I just called Outdoorsmans and told them what I was looking to do. I bought this before going to NM back in 2021. I have been extremely pleased. I have used it in NM, and MT. It fits into a day pack very easily, and is not heavy at all.

The real key is to define what it will do. What is most important? Stability? Height? Weight? I have a

and love it. It built extremely well and has performed flawlessly for years. I got it on GOHUNT in n a discount. It’s packable and steady. It isn’t tall though.

So...here's what I did, I got a manfrotto befree live carbon fiber tripod off ebay, with a pan head. I found one that was mislabeled and got a screaming deal...its been fantastic.

For instance, this ebay listing says an aluminum tripod with ball head, but the pictures are if a carbon fiber tripod with pan head...the pictured tripod brand new runs $350

I don't know this listing or person on ebay and have no affiliation...but the bay can be a good way to find a deal on a tripod and head if you know what you want and are looking for...

I bought a tripod off of amazon, the brand name was INNOREL I believe. It is light weight and pretty compact and tall and stable enough for me (6'3") to glass from standing up, and even shoot from in a pinch. I have used it for a couple of seasons now and have been impressed, especially for the price.

edit: I think it was this one. https://www.amazon.com/INNOREL-KT32...770045987&sprefix=innorel,aps,215&sr=8-8&th=1

Thanks all for the feed back. Stability and weight are the 2 big things. I rarely stand when using. I will check out these recomendations
