.... vegan leather? Sitting here finishing up a file of paper to feed the CPA with and have the “news” on (well, kind of, it’s GMA) in the background. Have heard three references to “vegan leather” in the last two hours. Wth?

@Hilljackoutlaw that was actually pretty cool! I was just thinking it was a BS way of describing “vinyl” to jack the price up... combo leather and tequila, sweet

In the old classic Albert Brooks movie, Lost in America, he is negotiating the final price on a Mercedes. The dealer tells him he gets everything for that price except leather.
"For what I'm paying, I don't get leather?" Brooks asks, aghast.
"You get Mercedes leather."

maybe idk how plastic is made but isent plastic produced from petroleum of some sort? which comes from biological matter? what's vegan about that.
