Some of you may remember my Coues buck from last year and the semi live thread I posted up. It’s right here…

Semi live Coues ADVENTURE!

Since I really only got the itch for hunting Coues deer from watching Randy’s show a decade or more ago (who knows when those first Coues deer shows aired ???), it only felt right to do a little semi live recap of how things unfolded on my FIRST rifle hunt for Coues. I’m not sure I ever knew...

Well I just figured I’d let those that care know, I finally finished video. I assume most of you like Randy’s videos and it’s a lot like his day by days’s of course it’s missing some of the “flair” since I was self filming.

Congratulations on a spectacular hunt in equally spectacular country. Thank you for such a fine video detailing your hunt



I watched it wearing a T shirt seeing my bare forearms on my laptop. Still have these long, skinny, scars from so long ago caused by Cat Claw (Acacia thorn bush) so omnipresent in lower elevation Coues Deer country.



I was in a hurry following a buck and just forced my way through. Once, I used to live in Coues Deer Country.



I would love to know the location of your hunt and would not pass it on. PM that info to me if you would.



What works great for passing under barbed wire fencing are two 1/4” metal rods about 14-15 inches long with a fork welded on one end and a little round disk on the other. Use them to prop up the lower strand of wire and wiggle under.
