Worth the Money for the "SMART WOOL" socks or not ?

I have 2 pair and Love them.. but they are spendy.. NOT sure it it's all that worth it ? Need a couple more pair of socks.. What would you do ?

Smart Wool socks are nice, but IMO the Thorlo "Mountaineering" socks are better. I have both, but the Mountaineering socks you can pull all the way up to your calves and they will stay up on your calves. I hate the feel of a leather boot against my bare skin, and this is just what happens when i wear the smart wool. I say the Thorlos at Sportsman's Warehouse...I'm making my way out there right now...tata for now.

Oh, and it is just a few dollars more for the Thorlos.

Smart wool socks are great.you can get them in lots of diffeerant types short or long, thick or thin.

Not worn them in real bad weather cause we don't have real bad weather here.

Oscar, I dont know if they are worth it or not, but I have four pair, 2 of which I bought yesterday for this fall. I feel sick to my stomach paying 18.95 for a pair of socks, but dang, they are nice.

I picked up a pair of trekking, mountaineering and light hikers. Like the mountaineering the best, but they are the $19 ones!
