Anyone using the

SlikPRO CF-734 Carbon Fiber Twist Lock Tripod + Slik SVH-520 Fluid Head ?​

Looking to get a tripod for western hunting without breaking the bank.

I’ve got the tripod but with a different head. I really like the tripod, no issues after 10 years other than tightening one bolt a couple times. I’ve only used it for glassing with binos and spotters, never for shooting off

I might have went with the 624 if I did it over. I almost never glass with it fully extended to standing height

I have a slik 634 and I like that. Not quite tall enough to use binos while standing, but can use spotter/phone scope while standing easy enough. Been reasonably happy with the tripod for 3 years now. Slik makes quality stuff.

No experience with the head you referenced though.
