Skinning vs Caping Knife

I was just given a Buck PackLite Fieldmaster set of knives (http://www.buckknives.com/index.cfm?event=product.detail&productID=3954) that I'm actually pretty excited about. However, being a newb to the gutless method of field dressing I'm wondering what I'd do with the caping knife. Is the caper just a finer detail knife I'd use if I was going to keep the cape off of the animal?

Yep. Caping knife would be to do the detail work around the base of the antlers, tear duct, lips, etc. if you were going to cape it out for taxidermy purposes. I sometimes also use mine when taking legs off at the joints and stuff as you can work it in easier than a bigger knife.
