Sierra Game Changers for Elk?

I was wondering if anyone have used the Sierra Game Changers for Elk and how they worked?

I have a lot of trust in Sierra bullets. If I hadn't bought a bunch of Hammers I would give Game Changers a try.

I've shot several elk with 180 grain Sierra GameKing bullets from my .30-06 and one of my best bulls with a 117 grain SierraGameKing bullet from my .257 Ackley. Put your bullet in the right place and your work will just begin.

 

[why]

I've shot 3 elk with the 165-.284 version, along with several deer. Elk harvested ranged from 80 yards to 380. Recovered the bullet from the farthest elk. If memory serves it weighed around 110 grains. I really like the bullet so far. From my limited experience i'd say a bit tougher than the 162 eld x which is the only other c/c .284 I've used in recent years out of the rifle. I really like them so far.
