My good friend Tom and I had a pretty good week long run.
Started with helping Tom with a ram in Colorado. I hunted several days with him and finally all came together one night right at dark. Was a late night getting back to the truck at 12:30 AM but worth it.
Wasn't sure I'd have time to hunt with Tom for his pronghorn tag in WY, but with the shutdown and all turns out I had plenty of time. Looked over a couple hundred bucks and Tom decided on this guy:
With Tom all filled out on Bighorn sheep and his pronghorn and the .gov still shutdown, figured we'd head to my WY area and poke around a bit. Looked at a gob of pronghorn bucks, hard to know how many bucks total, in the hundreds for sure.
Found this one after 2 full days of looking and decided he was good enough.
I could get used to these shutdowns, hopefully it lasts through elk and deer season.
