What has anyone experienced with the shoulder seasons so far? In the area we archery hunt there is some private land nearby that has allowed some rifle hunting and it has sure made the elk spooky and skiddish on the public land we hunt. Also, we have noticed smaller sized groups of elk and less communication from cows and calves.
