Warden said they shot more than the last 10 years combined this year. Something like 20 tag holders and around 450-500 Natives. They mentioned the flooding and early snow fall may have redirected the bison. It was a war zone when we were down there. Had to end our beer drinking early to avoid risk of being struck by a stray bullet.
