Shooters tarnishing our public land

During yesterday's hot afternoon temps I drove by my favorite backroad state land shooting area. Half the area was scorched black earth, with the fire department trucks spraying to contain the tinder grasslands quickly moving fire. The sheriff deputy was having a clearly serious discussion with a couple of asshats who had been "flaming" their AR at tannerite in that volatile field, stupidly igniting a serious blaze. Asking the fire chief what occurred, he simply said, "Tannerite" with a scowl on his face. As I departed, fuming myself, I could see the deputy had confiscated the AR. 'Hope he throws a big fine at them.

Gun nuts like these idiots are the worst enemy of our precious gun rights.

Hey now, spread the wealth. Gun nuts don’t deserve all the credit for land use dummies. Dirt bikes with unshielded mufflers, smokers flicking a burning butt, anyone with aerial fireworks.
