This thread could easily be made into a National Geographic Outdoorsmans edition. All beautiful pictures here. I can see why my parents moved to SW Montana now for sure.

Here are a few from this summer/fall.

Thanks Dave Hawk and all you guys for sharing your photos ! It's most enjoyable to see what you've seen and realize the variety of country you've traveled ! Sure hope this thread keeps growing !
Since it's impossible for all of us to gather and tell stories about our adventures might I propose sharing a cup of "Cowboy Medicine" and keep the chatter going !

Here's a favorite of mine of a beautiful Montana sunrise. Too bad Ratfink's ugly self cluttered it up.

One of my favorite's Nothing better starting the day with a hot cup and dreaming of what could be for the day. Thanks RR

I love the pictures. What kind of camera do you guys use? I don't want to lug around my big canon camera and have been looking at the "tuff" cameras. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
John

I was standing in the same spot for these two photos. Little time difference.

Focused on climbing some peaks in a local range this year.Bagged six over 10,0000 from one drainage, unfortunately most of the climbing was during our "smoke" season. The fishing was a distraction,as well.:)
