Datil fire was 20 ac @1400 yesterday. They were jumping on it with everything we have.
I'm getting smoke from AZ this morning. strong SW winds already.

Cookes peak fire has Cimmaron ready to evac. Philmont and area already out. 21k and 0% containment.

Stage 1 enacted across the Denver Metro/Central Front range today (stage 2 in 2 counties). Given the conditions in the NF right now, I'm sure the USFS will follow quickly.

It's way drier this year in NM than 2018.
Last year was driest in years. Worst drought in 1200 years.

Monsoons start in July. Blowing dust & smoke today.
