Passed. Someone else ended up shooting him while he was just 200 yards in front of me! Yikes too close for comfort. Kid took a 550 yard shot.... my cousin was working towards a larger buck we saw

Here he is. Not a bad buck by any means but with 5 days still to hunt and enjoy this amazing tag, didn't want it to end on him. My experience meeting the outfitter and client didn't go well. I was obviously a bit upset so I'm not exactly fully innocent with how that interaction went down but there was no class or care from their side. Apparently shooting a buck 200 yards below a guy is ok with the hunter I was with behind down below us in that drainage is ok.

We went into this drainage and split up. 10 minutes in, I spotted a big mature buck but he was just a 3x3. Big 3x3. Neck as big as ever

I moved onto bigger and better things. Looking hard for big hank. 15 minutes later, I hear a shot ring out, down the drainage, from where my cousin and his daughter went

Big 3x3 laying on the ground....dead. he ran up by them and at 100 yards I think she decided right then that her knee hurt just enough to put her into killer mode. Smoked him right behind the shoulder and destroyed both lungs as he dropped right there

A few...not many flying but got a beauty of a drake Widgeon. I know you folks out here don't even shoot them but for a fella from WI this is pure gold!
