I already have the mower, but looks like I have a lot to do to catch up with your list.

Congrats. Sounds like you have a pretty good list of things to do. My only advice is if you start working out, start with walking and yoga. Sitting at a desk that long will cause your body to rebel.
Enjoy it all.

I retired (2nd time "fully") at 50. I took the first several months off except for hunting whenever physically possible and a trip to the UK to hunt for my birthday present to me. As you may know now from my posts I sell guns PT at Scheels for the last 4+ years. This was/is for 2 reasons. 1.....get me out of the house some, which is especially important given that my wife works from home +-60% of the time. 2......I am immersed in one of my loves (firearms and outdoor equipment) and OUTSTANDING discounts which have enabled me to equip myself with things I would never pay full price for.

If you are like me you have people you want to see and connect with better. Travel to see friends and have experiences (doesn't have to be expensive).

You will now have the luxury of F You Money......by that I mean, you no longer have to take direction or input you don't want in order to pay bills. Do what YOU want, deal with who YOU want to. Don't be afraid to ignore people you don't care about or to let them know to leave you alone. Your time is the most valuable resource you have.

Don't let people pressure you into "moving south for warm weather" if that isn't what you want.....personally I am getting ready to move to a harsher climate. I LOVE cold weather, cutting and splitting wood, wood stove fires and the fact that harsher weather keeps weak willed people away.

Sorry for rambling....enjoy to the fullest
