Season Four starts airing this week. Our first episode of the new Season will air on Thursday, June 28th at 7:00 PM, Mountain Time.

Airtimes of this season are:

It is our Alaska bear hunt, Part II, where Randy has the worst struggle of his hunting career. You saw the Part I of this hunt last season, where my buddy, Joe Treat, shot his bear, but not before diving over the bow of the boat.

If you want to read the Live Hunt account of this episode here is the link. I think we did a good job of capturing what is the worst fear of any hunter. I hope none of you ever have to experience it.

Hope you enjoy our new season. Some difficult hunts, some terrible luck, and the reality of what it takes to capture hunting as it occurs for the average guy. But, in spite of all the challenges, I think it is a great season.

Maybe one of these days they'll offer the Sportsman Channel around here. In the mean time, do you plan to post the rest of season 3 on the website? It stops at episode 7, I'm sure there are a few more.

DVR is set and I'm looking forward to it, the play-by-play account was great so I'm sure the show will be also. Unfortunately that worst fear you experienced is one I know as well.................

My DISH network on the Sportsman channel shows it's not a new show. It show one from 2010. Hard to try to get the DVR to work when the providers can't get stuff correct :) How so all the rest of you see it in your channel line up?

My TimeWarner set-up has it listed as last season's episode, as well. Idiots...:)

My direct tv shows Tu 6/26 as Montana Archery Elk, Th 6/28 Alaska Black Bear and more entries as OnYour Own Adventures.
station: SPMN 605
Go figure.

That's because the premier isn't until 6/28. The elk hunt is from the previous season

Got it. DVR set correctly now.

Another great episode Randy! Can't believe that bear didn't pile up just beyond that rock. Tough one but that's hunting.

Well done. Definately not a back-slapper of a episode, but the story told by the show captured the emotions of the hunt. I am glad you showed it warts and all....it was still a great "ADVENTURE"!!

I got screwed, for whatever reason Direct TV or Sportsman channel didn't have it listed properly (and a new show, first run) and it didn't record....but Tuesday's re-run on the MT Breaks Archery did record.
