SD East River Public Land Deer

Found this guy on USF&W Waterfowl Production Area 2nd day of the season. The trail cam picture is the only picture I have of him. Took me 26 years, but finally got one for the wall.

Had an official measurer lay a tape on him Saturday. "Unofficial" number was 150 2/8. I don't get hung up on inches, I enjoy hunting with my sons too much for that, but I am very pleased to have harvested him.
My boys hunted hard but only were able to shoot one doe between the three of them. Had some shots at a huge 4x4 but couldn't get him. He's still out there for next year.
