Scout Look????

Hey Guys,
I use ScoutLook on Android at home here in PA and it's always been spot on for my locations but I'm not really familiar with the how/why of the accuracy, is it due to the relative proximity of cell towers to pin point location or is it all satellite or a mix of both. So anyhow, does anyone use it in the back country and if so, how has it been for you?

Scoutlook in the Back Country

So anyhow, does anyone use it in the back country and if so, how has it been for you?

I've used it in the back country often. I'm not sure about the Android platform, as I use the iPhone. However, I do the following:

1. Location Services turned off
2. Un-needed Apps Off
3. Needed Apps, e.g. "OnX" and "ScoutLook" on.
