just passed reconsider 62-38 and is alive and well. This crap nevers ends.

I wonder who is trying to keep this thing alive in light of Simpson/Tester?

It makes no sense to pass this bill unless you are trying to derail that effort and keep wolves listed.

This (legislative) thing will not be over until they actually go home. Hope the budget bill somehow gets reckoned before a special needs session convenes. No net gain in state land bill stayed alive today. The 62'nd Session - the gift that keeps taking. I've seen a couple of posts on here about guys being happy a thread isn't about politics.....yeah it would be nice if this crap didn't have to concern anyone anymore..........

I can't wait for posts that have nothing to do with politics. :)

Two more big votes coming up, and then we're pretty much done folks.

SB 303 is up on third reading tomorrow
SB 414 - Still not sure when it is. Either tomorrow or Monday.

Ben, I think the correct icon for the session's end is actually :D

The following changed their votes.

Ankney, Bangerter, Cook, Fitzpatrick, Flynn, Hollenbaugh, McNutt, Milburn, Miller, Peterson, Small, Stahl, Yates.

Why would Peterson defend the WMP one day, then vote for this POS the next?

I don't get it either. It all appears to be above my pay grade.

And a way of life to us.

Screw um. They won't be able to mess up the Mother's Day Caddis hatch on the Madison and Yellowstone, salmon fly camps and floats with good friends on the Bighole/Madison/Yellowstone, backpack humps over 10000' passes in the Hilgards/Spanish Peaks, summer evening walks with the wife and dogs in the Bridgers, the first hike to the ridge top for blues with the shotgun and the dawg in September.......that's right it's our way of life. Wouldn't trade mine for all of the politicians in Helena combined. Even their "game" can't really ruin the good stuff. They tried for the last couple month's and, for the most part, we stuffed em up their own arses:hump: Game "off", way of life on:D.

After I sent a message to the entire House regarding a potential backlash against Republican legislators for supporting SB 303 (Brenden's no net gains bill), I received a phone call from Ted Washburn (chair of House FWP committee) late last night. Washburn agreed that SB 303 is a bad bill, not only for FWP, but for other state agencies. He said he knew of at least one representative who will change their vote and vote against it on 3rd reading, so it sounds like it will fail. But please send your messages to the House asap, as we need to keep the pressure on.
