He walked within 5 yards of the truck...saw another 7 they were jumpier! I could only get within 30 yards of them for pics!

Stopped in Lincoln, Montana for a pit stop one day. Wife wanted to shop so I went to look for an "in town" deer to photograph. While I was checking one out about 50 yards away another walked up to withing ten feet of me as if to check me out. No telephoto lens required.

But, its amazing how tame sheep become when the season is closed. How do they know?
