Saturday first phase opener

Opener was a good one for me. The widgeon is only the third one I've ever seen. Lucky to have a drake as my first bird. It was a good morning on the marsh albeit rather hot for the middle of November. Back out again today to see if there's another limit with Mr name on it

Round two ended about 2 hours ago. Not a bad limit. I know most don't think highly of the lowly ruddy duck but from my experience they have been one of the tastiest birds of all.

Quick hunt this morning. The blubills are thick early this year

One last hunt for first phase and uts in the books. Couldn't help it i had to harass the snipe while I was bagging another mixed bag limit. I gotta make some room in the freezer.
