Sako A7 vs Tikka T3X

I do not think that you could go wrong with either rifle! Pick the one that just feels better in your hands to you. Now that being said here's some help for your next question.

Nosler 165 gr. Accubond or Partition

IMR4350 or H4350 powder 56-58 grs. seems to be where a lot of folks find happiness. My personal is IMR4350 57.4 grs.

Federal 210 match primers or CCI 200 primers

I haven't been able to get my hands on a Sako A7 in my area (hope to change that at a gun show tomorrow). Do newer A7s still have the plastic bolt shroud that the told T3s had, but that the T3X replaced with a metal one? I got a T3X in 25-06 last fall and love it, but I'm going to pick up a .308 in the near future and don't mind spending a little more if the quality feels worth it.

My A7 Big Game has the plastic bold shroud. It isn't a huge deal but does kind of look cheap compared to metal. I love my A7 one of my 3 best shooting big game rifles.
