How any of you noticed if the rut has started or near in your part of the woods?

Welcome Thirty pointer...The rut has started here about 2 weeks ago..I guess that is very early. The buck I shot over a week ago, was swelled up like a balloon......

Ours will be about January 15th till Feb 10th. Season ends January 31st though.
The rut is WIDE OPEN at the 1st of FEB....figures
