Anyone in the Anchorage area? Been here a week and am leaving next weekend. Put some halibut in the freezer last weekend. Targeting salmon this weekend....been a rough start. Zilch thus far...

how much longer you in anchorage for? where you planing on fishing for salmon? there was a big run on reds down south last week but ended up dieing fast, i havent heard much more on whats hot right now.

I'll be back up in May for the spring brownie hunt on the peninsula.

I did a suicide run down to the Kenai last night. Scooped up some beautiful sockeyes. Still plenty of really nice fish to be had in there.
