Not many organizations have supported public land owners as the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Involved members, donors and constant work with local, state and federal agencies and understanding the fantastic value present to work with private land owners to open public land for us, the public.

You love hunting? Elk, among other big game that gains from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's actions? Join and support an organization that supports you.

Pretty awesome, 1.2 million acres. Grats RMEF!

Knowing what RMEF and partners have in the pipeline, along with renewal for LWCF and even more access emphasis at RMEF, I expect that acreage number will increase at a rapid pace over the next decade.

Whether it is your Time, your Talent, or your Treasure, these groups can use your help.

Recent example:

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation teamed up with conservation-minded landowners, the Bureau of Land Management and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to piece together four sections of elk habitat in southeast Idaho.

Beginning in 1997 and wrapping up in 2016, RMEF helped carry out four different project phases that transferred 3,250 acres into public ownership—all of which now makes up about 10 percent of the 34,000-acre Tex Creek Wildlife Management Area.

All of this is now available to you, the public.

Don't forget, you can use code "RMEF" when you purchase a new onX hunt subscription to receive 20% off, with a portion of proceeds going back to help fund projects just like this.

I moose hunted Tex Creek a few years back. This addition is great news.
