Cheney enjoyed fly fishing as well. I have a friend that has a story about fishing the South Fork of the Snake shortly after the quail hunting incident and his buddy was loudly criticizing Cheney. Saying what a effin idiot he was for shooting the guy and criticizing the Bush administration loudly. Sound really carries on the water. They notice multiple boats ahead of them that they ended up floating past and as they got closer could see some guys were in uniforms with no fishing rods and a familiar looking guy was fishing with a guide. They still call it Cheney's channel.
