Thats going to be a sweet rifle!
Cleaning all of the threads with rubbing alcohol is always a good idea.

Well I was just mounting the scope after I set the action in the chassis, the screw broke so much for $75 scope rings, granted there 10 years old. Any recommendations on what to order? Thinking NF rings.

I’ve used Warne Maximas for the past few years. Their vertical split rings are solid but a bit more finicky to set up. Been happy with their horizontal split rings too.

I’ve been really happy with the Seekins rings on my RUM.

NF rings are great, Warne Mountain Tech, Seekins, all been great pic rings for me

If you like rings with one big nut than the NF ultralight rings.
If you want two screws the seekens rings are great.

I don’t know about you Homedale people, but here in Caldwelalajara we think two screws is always better than one big nut.
