So I have a highly sought-after elk tag this fall, one of the things I really wanted updated before this day came was my spotting scope. However the tag is here and my old spotter is still in the pack (bummer right?? 
). With the cost of the whole hunt really adding up I'm not sure it will happen this season. So I am looking into renting one, but reading through some optic threads I learned maven has a sweet demo program. Anyone have some insight into which route may be best? Also open to other ideas!! Either way it would allow me to try some higher end optics and give me a better idea of what I really want. Thanks!!!
