Rem 700 SPS Sale

If any of you have a Murdoch's near you they have all of their Rem 700 SPS Rifle on sale this weekend for $395, plus a $75 rebate from Remington, PLUS they pay your background check fee. I just picked one up in 308 for $340 out the door with the rebate (Mail-in). Pretty good deal. The one in Grand Junction only has 2 243's left.

Hold it, they normally charge for a background check?

Yup. Stores in CA were $20 bucks. When I first moved to CO it was $10, now I think it's $7.

I picked up an SPS Tactical in 308 a few months ago. I topped it with a new Leupold 4.5x14 VX3 I from Schmalts and added a Timney trigger to her. This gun is an amazing tack hammer for a factory rifle. Definitely a good value.
