The discussion was about Kamala shitting the bed when asked what she'd do differently than Biden had during his presidency, to which i acknowledged that would be a very difficult situation for Vance to navigate. During campaigning, Vance went on quite the media spree where he walked into lots of media outlets that were at least mildly hostile towards a trump campaign and he handled the targeted questions quite well while at the same time Kamala was hardly taking questions from the same outlets that would have likely tossed her softballs.

You have forced me to reflect a bit though and after seeing how he has handled some of these ICE topics, i'm not confident he won't shit the bed doubling down too. Probably a lot more venom directed his way if he dares critique trump than Kamala would have gotten for critiquing a significantly declined Biden.
