Today is not the day to believe much of what Trump says. He might pull some stunt, that will then wind its way thru the courts, and get shot down once again.

So tariffs struck down. Companies got to raise prices, they are going to keep the revenue, recoup their funds, then keep prices higher.

you'd think with the midterms approaching trump would've taken the chance to let the tariff stuff kinda quietly slip away into the night.
throwing a giant fuss and going for 10% global tariffs via an additional route.... i just can't understand the logic besides spite and living a life of perpetual anger.
tariffs are undoubtedly yet another thing that will hurt GOP chances this fall and they were definitely waning in terms of news cycle relevance and fresh political ammo since liberation day. you'd think he'd have gone ahead and dropped it instead of opening a fresh wound to reignite legal battles and fill the buckets of political ammo.
but, it's trump i guess, so not surprising at all either

Man you sure need to find some legitimate news sources. But there are different ways to establish tariffs legally...but declaring an "emergency", not developing rationale for that, and bypassing congress is clearly not one of them.
