Great question. Reliability sums it up best they work and keep working without hassle. They also have fantastic battery life, and can basically be set and forget it. As long as your SD card is formatted they brainless for easy use. Thy are American made and not disposable which is a rare thing to find nowadays.
We have probably 30 HC6 which are an older model than this that are still in use as well as 10HR2 cellular models. I can count on less than one hand the number of times I sent anything in for a repair.

the only reason these are being replaced is we just got a big order of the 4K version of the HR2x in and they will be installed on the farms in the coming months.

We've been using an HC600 since 2012 with no issues. Battery life is great and happy with the pics.

I have 2 HC 600's in the junk drawer. They have been back to reconyx so many times that the "service charges" would have bought new ones.

Being a glutton for punishment, I might be in the market for a couple. How old are they?

they came out with the HF2x in 2018, we got a case shortly after that. however most of these were from the last three years. we slowly rolled out new ones we had on the shelf.

I still have about thirty of the HC6s in use, I won't sell them they take the best video I ever seen. Shoot me a PM and I can get you my number and we can text and be happy to answer any questions you have.

I picked up a couple cameras from @Trial153. I can't say how they are but I will say that he made one of the quickest, smoothest deals ever. I paid for them last night, he nearly instantly sent me pix of the cameras AND the shipping label!
