Well, I found another place to help deal with a midlife crisis. The wife tells me as I leave to go there "don't break anything" and she doesn't mean my bike.
My friend ted took some pictures, but it doesnt do it justice of what the place is like and a lot of the BMX sections he did not photo. Heck, they even have a foam pit for the crazy kids that like to do flips and 180's.

I was able to pull off a few things in the expert section and if I stay at it this will really help my outdoor riding skills a LOT.

heres a link to some photos. Read the desciption below the photos. BTW, I saw a guy break his shoulder today, not pretty.

That's a nice looking park. Been so long since I spent any real time on the bike I don't think I could make it through the beginner section. I'm sure some would get a laugh at me trying to clip out right before I ate it. Thanks for the pics

first thing you do is replace those clip pedals with platforms. The guy that broke his shoulder had clip style..... and could not get out. Clip pedals help with hill climbs and total speed but for skills they really arent needed as you not using your balls to the wall speed at this place.

Just grow up would you!;)

a rollin stone gathers no moss! hey, i do feel old at places like this and the indoor rock climbing place but it sure is fun. Besides, your only as old as you act and feel right? right?
until you get injured LOL and then you feel old a long time:D

Duly noted

They didn't have a Schwinn "bmx" when I was a kid. Skateboards has steel wheels too.

That place looks like it should be next to a hospital.

You made your blood mark in the disneyland of BMX - I see...
Glad nodda broke ~ today... Heck that looks dangerous on two feet... Haha! j/k.

I learned this on Friday. If you have enough stupidity to proove to all the young guys that you can still do stupid things like catch big air into the freestyle jump practice foam pit, make sure you go all in and get enough speed so you don't endo into it and have your bike follow you and knock the crap out of your jaw. Damn, i havent been given a hit to the jaw that hard since... well we aint goin there.:D
Took the wife and kid there, he boy a good time and like father like son he hit a big boulder and bruised his chest pretty good. But, he is young and heals a lot faster than the old man.:p
Anyone want to come out and join me give me a shout!!! that place if fun, here is some video
