I think thats a good choice. All my hunting friends have vortex rfs and they never complain.

I like the sig a lot. It has never failed me.
But sig doesn't stand up to the warranty Vortex has.
There are limitations to what Sig will cover. But Vortex is no questions ask.

I bought a used sig 2200 in 2019 off another forum. It didn’t work all that well. It got to the point that I couldn’t range even 100 yards consistently. I sent it back to sig to fix and they sent me a brand new unit at no cost. The new unit is awesome. It reads out to 800-900 yards almost instantly and my max range with it is 3100 yards this past December in southern AZ. I love that thing.
