Thinking of trying a new broadhead, have most recently used rage but am going back to fixed blade to eliminate regulatory issues in some states. Have done a little research and am thinking about ramcats.

Not interested in hearing about every broadhead good or back, just if you have used ramcats and what you thought of them.

Appreciate the help before I spend $40.

My experience: Ramcat fixed blade - Very sharp. Fly good. Not very tough at all.

"Hit like a ram, cut like a cat" ...and squash like a bug !?!?

I have not used them, but was talking to an elk guide who had a few clients this past year that shot Ramcats. He was very impressed with them and was considering switching from his old standby Thunderheads. That's all I've ever heard about them.

I had problems with losing the screws that hold the blades on. The blades would catch on the hood of my quiver and make them difficult to pull out and then it would flip the blade up and loosen the screw. I never shot an animal with them so I can't comment on that aspect. I switched to .......(another brand).
