1 and 1/2 pounds Kroger ground chuck
2 packages Kroger chile mix (any temperature)
2 cans 14 oz Kroger red kidney beans
2 14.5 oz cans Kroger sliced tomatoes
1 can 14 oz Kroger pinto beans

Brown the beef and drain. Mix in everything else stir in well, cover and simmer for ten minutes. Fastest chile I've had that actually tastes good.

This might add another 15 seconds to the time, but try adding 1 14 oz can of Black Beans next time also.

What size pot/pan? Can I use Food Lion brand stuff? What size cans? Can I use home ground meat? What temp setting on the stove? Can I freeze it?

Elk; don't mess with the recipe! Write your own!!

Gunner; Put it in a pot that it fits in, turn the heat up to "on" after it starts steaming turn it back to "off" . Yes you can freez it. I prefer to put it in one quart bags while it is still hot and lay it flat in the freezer directly on the wire rack and let it get good and solid before I try, err; before I move it!

No you can't use Food Lion products cause they use Chinese meat, and no if you use Kroger ground meat you can not use wild meat in it. Now if you butt heads want to mess with chile recipes, I got about 2,000 of them. I think about a dozen are mine. I did make one slight alteration to the recipe 2nd time around. I got some African Cayenne Pepper Powder from the local Oriental Market. It'll literally peel the hide off your boots!!

If you boys like hot let me know and I'll get you some of this stuff!!

I don't understand why you can't use Food Lion products cause they use Chinese meat, but you can use African Cayenne Pepper Powder from the local Oriental Market.

Because; that's why!

Hey you know what; if that bean water on the black beans is reallyblack, sometimes it is, you might be able to turn the chile a deep brown color by mixing in a little paprika!

Drain all the water off from all the beans and replace with beer. So now you have one more ingrediant for your quick & dirty chili.

Did when I was living in N. Carolina! Came in a white can with big black letters that said BEER.

Left over chile; the forked orange wasn't done yet.

Turkey turned out delicious though. Had turkey, gravy, Ceasar salad, cucumber salad, and peas and carrots for dinner. You got to try that forked orange!
