Quail hunting around Mesquite, NV

Does anyone know about quail hunting around Mesquite, NV? I'm thinking about taking a ride down there with a buddy in January and looking for some quail to hunt for a couple days. We'll be staying in St. George, Utah at a friend's house.

IT, I'm not sure about birds around Mesquite. I know there are birds in AZ just south of St. George. You might even run into one of the famed "Strip Bucks" while you're out there. If you are interested in going that route let me know.
