So I have an elk b tag for the 411, 511, and 530 zones (MT). I have been doing my e-scouting and have been out hiking around the country some already (unit 530), with plans for an overnighter next week, and maybe hanging a few cameras. My goal is to get some elk meat in the freezer early this year to take some of the pressure off of harvesting a bull.
I'm not asking for honey holes or the like, just maybe something along the lines of "I've seen elk while driving XX road". A PM would be best I feel, as I believe posting such info in an open forum is not ideal.
I also have a buck mule deer tag for 530, and a whitetail B tag that is also good in 530, so I have a lot of overlap in that unit and hoping I can find some cows in there so while hunting them, I can scout for my deer as well.
I like to think I have helped a few members here and am hoping a few will help me in return.
