Wherever it is, please don’t blow it up on the internet. One of these days I am gonna find the time to use my MT antelope points and hope to find a similar holy land of grouse and pronghorn. We can all dream.

I’m just wondering minimum amount of points it takes to draw R7, I only have 2 so I’m trying to plan out my next few years of hunts and where Montana antelope fit in.

You could draw with zero points. You could fail to draw with 4 points. Odds go up with more points, but there is no guaranteed minimum.

I did not, probably 3 times total? 3/4, 8 and now 10

Sadly, I think the confusion last year led to many people not putting in for the southern R7 tag, and the drawing pendulum will swing the other way after everybody saw the odds from last year’s draw.

I’m hopeful my party will draw our tags, but I’m thinking it might be a long shot this year.

I applied for South and have one scouting run in already. I've seen a young freak buck and 2-3 mature bucks in a small area. Unfortunately a fawn hanging on a fence in one spot.

So as much as I want to know NOW, I’m thinking it will be Wednesday or Thursday.
