Anyone a SKS rifle guy? I have had one for 20 years. I have never shot and its got lots of grease in it still. I was planning on doing something with it, but I wont. Its taking up space in my safe. If you know what I should price it at let me know. I do have an idea but I am sure many know more than me on this.

Norinco:

Combat exchange stock
appears all matching serial numbers including mag
have an AK style mag I bought for it
no bayonet

Let me know if you have a honest price for me.

I remember that you could buy one of these at Ax-Men in Missoula Montana for about 80 bucks. Brand new in cosmoline. In 1985. As of now, no idea of the value. mtmuley

Serial numbers match, so that’s good. Do you have the original stock?

Can’t tell too well about condition, but they usually run around $400-500 around here if in good shape, but maybe more right now due to the firearms market in general.

$350 like that, if you have the wood stock and bayonet $400-$450

Funny...I bought one in Bozeman not long after for maybe 125. I traded it at a pawn shop about ten years ago....wish I hadnt.

There is a surge in AK/SKS purchases as 7.62x39 ammo has been running less than half of what 5.56 has been going for. If you're wanting to part with it now would be a good time, bet you can get more than $500.
