Long too...Our Middle Zone SEMO lease is a mile and a half from Mingo NWR and States Duck Creek Conservation area. Record numbers of ducks in SEMO....they just sat on areas and got fat....total kill for year was under 120...don't know how many man days were expended but a bunch.
Opening weekend in AR lease was pretty good....brought my possession limit home in two days of hunting then AR around Stuttgart went to hell...but.finished out last three days with some great shooting but last Sat of season was weird, five Jacks and the rest of a three gun limit all teal....had limits of mallards the day before and the day after hunting same place.
SE LA was quite good. Best bud with lease can figure we had 70 mandays and took around 380 birds. Thirteen species. Seven of those man-days were mine.
We ate a goodly number and gifted quite a few and I got my 12 in freezer along with four whole Specks.....complained a lot during season but I guess it was pretty good over all in spite of Ol Abe getting snake bit and missing 10 days....at least he ended up fine and got to make up for lost time the last two weeks of season.
