I got one a few years ago similar to this and did not get it mounted. i've regretted that decision ever since and have spent the last few seasons trying to get one. finally happened today and this one will be going to the taxidermy man.
I hope you have better luck than I with taxidermy. I've tried to have 3 birds mounted and all 3 time the taxidermist said the birds were damaged and unmountable due to they freezer dying.
I've kind of lucked out with a taxidermist with quick turn around time, pretty good price, and does great work as far as I'm concerned. Here are the mounts he has done for me.
